If chili and baked beans had a baby
Feeds a crowd, my family loves.
Prep time is 20 minutes.
Cook time 6 hours in a slow cooker.

Ingredients:
1 onion finely chopped
1 pound meat of your choice
3 garlic cloves, diced or minced
2 tablespoons of olive oil for browning meat
4 cans of the tri-bean blend (or really any beans you prefer)
1 Green bell pepper, chopped
1 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drain juice
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
2 tbsp maple
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 teaspoons Salt, plus pepper
3 teaspoons of organic chili powder
Directions:
Add diced onion and olive oil to a skillet pan, simmer for a few minutes.
Add meat with 1 tsp of salt and chili powder and continue to brown.
Dice or mince garlic and add to meat and onion.
Once it is all lightly browned, set aside to cool.
Drain and lightly rinse beans.
Add beans to the slow cooker.
Chop bell pepper.
Drain the juice from the pineapple (some can remain).
Add remaining ingredients to the slow cooker, meat, bell pepper, crushed pineapple, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, 2 tbsp of maple syrup and brown sugar, 2 tsp of salt and chili powder.
Mix it together.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Enjoy with corn chips
